Technical Requirements For Submersible Sewage Pump Seals And Gasket Rings

The grommet should be manufactured according to BS 2494 or ISO equivalent standards ISO4633, ISO6447 and ISO6448. In order to meet the requirements for use at temperatures up to and even above 80°C, submersible sewage pump backing rings should be made of fluororubber or approved synthetic materials.

Submersible sewage pump joints shall be manufactured in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions or the requirements specified herein.

Unless you need to immediately place the rubber ring or gasket ring between the connectors, the rubber ring or gasket ring should be stored in a dark warehouse and avoid the harmful consequences of heat or cold. Rubber rings or gasket rings should be placed flat to prevent tension in any part of the rubber.

When connecting the rubber ring to the oil, use only the lubricant recommended by the manufacturer. Furthermore, lubricating oils cannot contain water-soluble ingredients to ensure the quality specified in this specification. Lubricating oils should be suitable for working in the on-site climatic conditions and contain approved fungicides. A graphite paste or the like should be applied to the threads of the bolts before the joints are bonded. It is recommended to use stainless steel submersible pumps for corrosive liquids.
